Artist Jenn Carman from Skawahlook First Nation is a mom and stepmom to 4 children, an early childhood educator by day and a bead artist everywhere in between. 

In winter 2022, she searched for a way to connect culturally. She took a workshop locally and learned the Peyote Stitch. Instantly, she felt connected to the process. "I found beading to be a way to relax after a busy work day. I have grown with my beadwork a lot these past years, and I love being able to share my work with others." 

With sharing her beadwork came the creation of Two Rose Beading, a small business where she could share her art and sell high-quality beading supplies.
