All the new style moccasins feature a single stitch at the sole. Now using MEC-Val machines from Italy, which create simple lockstitch seams. This means that even if one stitch breaks, the next stitch is securely tied with a knot, ensuring durability.

Description

This genuine moose hide leather Native American Medicine Bag (a.k.a Medicine Bundle) is a small pouch measuring 3" with an 18" length cord. The rawhide cord fits nicely around your neck. The leather colour of this pouch is Maple Brown. In Native American history, the medicine bag or bundle contained items believed to protect or give spiritual powers to its owner. Medicine men, warriors or entire tribes used these pouches to carry and protect sacred or essential items. This pouch can hold various items such as tobacco, coins, rings, stones or other small objects.
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line.
